About This Site
A practical guide to the Clash ecosystem, Mihomo core, and internet freedom
Why This Site?
The reason is actually pretty simple, maybe even a bit “random”.
Recently, Vibe Coding has been blowing up, and I jumped on the bandwagon to start coding with AI. I started with Cursor, which felt like opening a door to a new world. Then I tried Kiro, which was also fun.
Until recently, I started using Trae. It felt incredibly smooth, and I got the urge to build something. So, I used Trae and Antigravity to completely rewrite the UI of this site from the ground up.
Building this site was partly to find a place to practice and mess around with these new AI tools, and partly because I’ve been using Clash for a long time.
Real Talk
As you know, since the “big shake-up” in 2023, the original Clash core project has been archived. Although the original “little cat” has stopped, new things based on the Mihomo (Meta) core are popping up everywhere, like Clash Verge Rev, Clash Nyanpasu, FlClash, and many others I haven’t even tried yet.
They are great tools, but for beginners, it’s honestly a bit overwhelming.
I started as a newbie too, and I know the pain of staring blankly at a pile of configuration parameters. So I thought, since I’ve figured it out, why not organize it and share it?
This site aims to do two things:
- Provide a reliable download source: Don’t download those sketchy modified versions. I’ll post links to official GitHub repos or reliable channels here. Safety first.
- Speak human: No fancy technical jargon. I’ll try to explain how to configure, route, and use TUN mode in plain English.
Tech Stack
Although I’m just dabbling, since this is “Vibe Coding”, I should list the tech stack (just to look professional):
- Generator: Hugo (Old reliable)
- Styling: Tailwind CSS (No more naming classes)
- Hosting: Cloudflare Pages (Free is good)
- AI Assist: Trae, Antigravity (The heavy lifters)
- Version Control: Github
Important Disclaimer
I’m Just a Random Guy
Clash Party is a site built out of personal hobby. I have zero affiliation with Clash official, the Mihomo team, or any client developer.
I just think these tools are useful and want to recommend them, while documenting my own tinkering process.
About Affiliate Links
Since we’re being honest, let’s talk about money.
Building a site, buying domains, servers (even if free now, who knows about upgrades later) all cost something. To keep this little site alive, when I recommend certain service providers, I might include AFF (Affiliate Links).
What does that mean? It means if you think my recommendation is good and you sign up/buy through my link, I get a tiny commission (maybe enough for a cup of coffee).
Rest Assured:
- This won’t cost you a penny more, sometimes you might even snag a discount code.
- I only recommend what I actually use. I wouldn’t dare list those with high run-away risks or terrible speeds, no matter how much they pay. My reputation matters more than money.
- You have the choice. If you mind, you can totally copy the link and delete the tracking suffix before visiting. Seriously, your happiness comes first.
Thanks
Thanks to Dreamacro for starting it all back in the day, and thanks to the MetaCube team for keeping the torch burning, and all the GUI developers for their hard work.
And of course, thanks to you for clicking in and reading this far. Hope this helps!
